Privacy Policy
How Bloop Studios handles your data — the short version is: we don't.
Last updated: May 2026
The short version
Our apps do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Key word being personal. We do collect anonymous usage data to help us understand how the apps are used and where we can improve them. This data cannot be used to identify you. Your personal content never leaves your device.
What we collect
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes things like which features are used, how often the app is opened, and where users encounter errors. It does not include any personal content you create inside the app.
This data is stored on PostHog’s EU-based servers, in compliance with GDPR. PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by a Data Processing Agreement. You can read PostHog’s privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy.
What we do not collect
- The content you create in our apps
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your location
- Device identifiers that could be used to track you across apps or websites
- Payment information of any kind
In-app purchases
Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play and the Apple App Store. Bloop Studios does not receive or store your payment details.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are based in the EEA, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. We would also happily extend this courtesy to any user, independant of where they live, but we don’t collect data that falls under this definition so really there is no reason to ask.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page and note it in the app release notes.
